Introduction

NTNUI Telemark – Alpine is one of the largest groups in NTNUI, with over 400 members. The following is a short introduction to who we are and what we do.

History

The original Telemark group was founded in the fall of 1986. The first meeting was held at Studenterhytta, where 75 enthusiastic students attended. The meeting discussed the groups intentions, plans and the first board was elected. In fall of 2002 the group was expanded to include alpine skiers, as more and more members of the group switched to alpine skiing, and the newly renamed Telemark – Alpine (TA) didn’t want to exclude anyone.

Since 1986 TA has organized a SkiFestival for the students of Trondheim. 2011 was our 25th anniversary!

Our Mission
